This image is titled “Fire Mist Sans Flight” and is based on my most famous photo called “Cranes in the Fire Mist.” It features a flock of sandhill cranes, Ross’ geese and snow geese at the Bosque del Apache, National Wildlife Refuge in central New Mexico.
